April 2013 Venice CA Real Estate Market Report

SINGLE FAMILY HOME SALES VOLUME AND AVERAGE SALE PRICE NEAR ALL-TIME HIGHS IN APRIL 2013 … only surpassed by December 2012 sales volume and August 2012 average sales price … and well above the 2004 to 2011 figures !!! April 2013 total sales volume was up by 71% over a year ago and 55% over last month; the number of single family homes that sold in April was 21% over a year ago; while that number remained the same as last month. April’s average sale price increased 38% as compared with both a year ago and last month. The average price per square foot increased 29% over April 2012 but remained the same as last month.
